Dr. Ghazna Khalid is the Co-Founder of CrossRoad Consultants, a women-led organisation that delivers end-to-end climate-smart, gender-responsive, and human development solutions; from technical assistance to full-scale on-ground implementation. The firm supports government and development partners in advancing resilient primary healthcare, renewable energy, governance reform, and social sector transformation.
With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Ghazna is a senior public health and human security specialist who has held leadership roles with the World Bank's Global Financing Facility (GFF), UNDP in the Merged Areas of KP, UNRWA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, and Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority. She is an advisor for Development Synergies International, a company based at NUST Islamabad, focussing on health reforms and global health security. Her expertise spans integrated PHC delivery, RMNCH, public health emergencies, women's health, crisis response, and institutional capacity building.
She holds an MD from Imperial College London, a doctorate from University College London, and postgraduate training from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK). She is a visiting professor at the Health Services Academy and an alumna of the National Security Leadership Programme at the National Defence University.
